- When you say Kennel and Cattery care at home, do you mean your home or mine?
The idea is in order to reduce the stress of taking your pet to a kennel or cattery, Paws and more looks after your pet in it's home surroundings. So, we will come to your home and feed, walk, play and love your pet while you are away without upsetting the routine. However, we can also arrange for dogs and puppies to board with us - ask for details.
- If I use your Kennel and Cattery at home service, how can I be sure that my key and home will also be safe?
On making a booking you will be given a receipt, which states that you have entrusted a key to us. The price includes our 'At Home' service which means we will put lights on/off, draw/open curtains. pick up post and put bins in and out to keep your home secure. We are also fully insured for key loss should this happen.
Yes there are - the more you book the better the deal. Loyalty discounts are also offered to regular clients.
- Where will you take my dog for his/her walk?
Wherever they are used to but if you'd like them to have some new adventures we have our favourite places we can introduce them to.
- Is Paws and more insured to look after my pet?
Yes, the company is fully insured for Public Liability. Care, Custody and Control, Non-neglect and loss of key cover. As well as Business Cover for transporting of animals. We are fully licensed under the Animal Boarding Establishment Act 1963 with the Borough of Poole and as part of that, whenever your dog is out with us they are given a Paws and More identity tag and bell.
- What happens if my pet is taken ill while in your care?
Minor cuts and bruises etc will be taken care of, a first aid kit is carried at all times. For more unfortunate incidents, we will ensure your pet is taken to the nearest vet and you will be called immediately.
- Do you have pets yourself?
Yes - currently 3 cats and 1 dog. View the Gallery to meet them.
- Do you provide leads and pet carriers?
Most owners prefer us to use their own leads and pet carriers. However, if you wish we can provide - the choice is yours.
- You state on your home page that you do business 'whatever the weather', is this really true?
Yes, we are happy to take your dog out, provide at home care or pop in and feed the budgie come rain or shine. However, if the weather is extreme (heavy snow and very icy conditions) we will get in touch with you.
